CrossFit 7220 started as a hobby for Mike Kmetz and Mike Dorssom joined by a few co-workers in a conference room in the basement of IDES.
As interest and numbers grew they converted a garage next to their office into a small CrossFit “box”. The new area was spacious and accommodating.
But within months the interest spread to the community and every class that was offered was usually full. More trainers and more classes were added, but it was evident CrossFit 7220 was once again outgrowing its “box.”
A building on 411 South 20th Street (which housed the former Laramie Athletic Club) was purchased and is currently hosting over 41 classes/week attended by 200+ members.
The dream of two CrossFit enthusiasts has developed into a passionate CrossFit Laramie community.
And, it is changing lives one athlete at a time.
