We are excited to have the kids back in the gym this week! See schedule below as there are time changes for some groups (*no classes Monday, 9/01 Labor Day):
Snowy’s (ages 3-5) Mondays and Wednesdays 3:20-3:45
Rockies (ages 6-11) Mondays and Wednesdays 3:45-4:30
Tetons (ages 12-18) Tuesdays and Thursday 4:30-5:30
If your child falls on the upper or lower end of the age requirement, we can help you determine which class is most appropriate for your child. In general, kids are placed with others their same age or grade level. (We have 8 year-olds who may demonstrate a higher skill level than a new 15 year-old, but we do not move the 8 year-old into the teen class.)
Remember, kids are not allowed in the gym during adult WOD’s. Adults are welcome to watch CrossFit Kids classes but we ask you remain on the edge of the gym and refrain from coaching or using it as an open gym time for yourself.
Teens who have attended a month or more of teen classes are allowed to attend Saturday mornings at 7:00 or 8:00 am but will not be allowed to attend any other adult WOD’s until they graduate from High School. Again, this has less to do with ability level and more to do with safety and keeping our youth in an age-appropriate atmosphere. We can assure you that the Kids trainers will adjust weights, etc. in a Teton class to ensure your teen is working hard in every WOD.
